Sheraton Gunter Hotel

Very nice, would highly recommend to anyone who has never been. So far (and we've stayed at quite a few San Antonio hotels), this is the best in town. Price was reasonable, and parking at the garage a block away was only $12 for 24 hours. She loved it, and I earned Brownie points, so no real complaints here. Amazing ambiance, clean and spacious room packed with high tech amenities, helpful staff, and great location.

Besides having a too close for comfort bathroom and a $22 unexpected parking charge, the hotel exceeded all my expectations. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

This is a historic, old-style luxury hotel. The public areas are ornate, but some of the rooms are a bit small.

I was pleased with the staff and safety of this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. I already recommended this hotel to my parents that are traveling soon.

I was impressed with the overall experience. My room was large and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable as well as the linens. The staff was very helpful. Yet I did not have hand towels in my room nor wash clothes. I asked for some and did not get any on either day. I was told they were out. I felt that this star rated hotel should be prepared when their hotel is full. I think that is very important. The staff seemed to be more attentive to customers who had not paid yet. Whereas, I was a "prepaid" customer.

Teh lobby is beautiful and the location is excellent. I really enjoyed my stay there and hopefully will return for another visit.
